How to put plot stamp on Microstation V8i

Here is some tips that i show you how to put plotting date on your drawing.

This tips is very useful so that you can control and determine weather your drawing

hard copies is the latest revision based on the date of the Plot date automatic stamp.

First go to Main menu bar and under the File go to the Print.




When your on the print dialog box look for for Resymbolization menu bar and go to Edit pen table.





Under the Edit Pen Table dialog box go to File and make new pen table file.

After that your on the Edit Pen Table dialog box. Look for text subtitutions

it is located at the Global action at first row of the bottom left of the Edit Pen table dialog box.

When you click that text subtitutions you will see the text substitution dialog box and

go to Edit and look and click the Insert date.

After you insert the date close the Text Substitution dialog box and save your settings

on the Modify Pen table dialog box.


Then close all the open dialog box and save your drawing and restart your Microstation.

Then go to your drawing and put the $DATE$ text of the location

where you want to put the stamp.
